A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING
THE GRANTING OF THE WARRANTY DEED TO MIAMI-
DADE COUNTY FOR THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS
ATLANTIC ISLAND, SUNNY ISLES LIFT STATION
PARCEL 1 FOR USE BY THE MIAMI-DADE WATER AND
SEWER DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING THE CITY
MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY WITH THE
AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach owns a portion of the right-of-way on
Atlantic Avenue known as Atlantic Island, Sunny Isles Lift Station Parcell; and
WHEREAS, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDW ASD) had requested that
the City deed the property to them for the purpose of maintaining the Lift Station Parcel 1 as part
of the Atlantic Isle Storm water and Drainage Project; and
WHEREAS, it is the wish of this Commission to deed this property to the County and to
convey all rights, title, and interest it has in the portion of the right-of-way located on Atlantic
Avenue known as Atlantic Island, Sunny Isles Lift Station Parcell, Tax Folio #31-2214-000, for
an amount ofTen Dollars ($10.00).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ratify the Granting of Warranty Deed. Approval for granting the Warranty Deed
to Miami-Dade County for the portion of the right-of-way located on Atlantic Avenue known as
Atlantic Island, Sunny Isles Lift Station Parcell, Tax Folio #31-2214-000, for an amount of Ten
Dollars ($10.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby ratified.
Section 2. Authority of the City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and the City
Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
Section 3.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

THIS WARRANTY DEED made and executed the2.Lday of January, A.D. 2009, by City of Sunny Isles Beach
and having its principal place of business at: 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. 33160,
hereinafter called GRANTOR to Miami-Dade County, a Political Subdivision of the State of Florida, whose post
office address is: c/o Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, P.O. Box 330316, Miami, Florida 33233-
0316, hereinafter called the GRANTEE:
WITNESSETH: That the GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and
other valuable considerations, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. By these presents does grant, bargain, sell,

Warranty Deed for the Atlantic Isles Lift Station
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached Resolution deeding the
property that the lift station will be located over to Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department for
the Atlantic Isles Sewer project.
REASONS
As part of the permit with Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department ("W ASD") for the Atlantic
Isles Sewer and Drainage Project, W ASD is requesting that the property for the lift station be
deeded to them. Additionally, the City is also in the process of acquiring a deed from the
Atlantic Isles Association for a parcel of land abutting the parcel that the City is deeding to
WASD.
