AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 97-7 ESTABLISHING THE OPERATING
DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1997, by Ordinance No. 97-7, the City Commission
created certain departments for the purpose of systematically and efficiently administering the
operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and
WHEREAS, the operating budget and the functioning of the City now demands the
revision of City departments;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
Ordinance No. 97-7 is hereby amended as follows:
1.
City Departments Created. For the purpose of systematically and efficiently
administering the operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach the following
departments of government within the City are hereby established.
1. Office of the City Manager
2. Finance afld Support Services Department
3. Law Department Office of the City Attorney
4. Office of the City Clerk!.s QfHee
5. Planning, Building and Zoning Department
6. Comm-unity Serviees Administrative Services Department
7. Public Safety Department
8. Public Works Department
9. Recreation Department
10. Human Resources Department
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective ten days after adoption on
second reading.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on first reading the 9th day of December, 1999.
