A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
EST ABLISHING A SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION
MEETINGS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2011; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to establish
a schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2011; and
WHEREAS, the third Tuesday of the month is reserved for City Commission
Workshops needed for review of the City Commission meeting agenda beginning at 10:00 a.m.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Approval of 2011 Schedule of Commission Meetings. The schedule for City
Commission meetings for calendar year 2011 shall be as set forth herein, and the third Tuesday
of the month is reserved for City Commission Workshops beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Section 2.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

Establishing a Schedule for -City Commission Meetings for Calendar
Year 2011
RECOMMENDA TION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution establishing a
schedule for City Commission meetings for calendar year 2011.
REASONS:
The City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to establish a regular
schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2011. Consistent with the
requirements of City Code Section 74-6, all of the monthly meetings have been
scheduled for the third Thursday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the
third Tuesday of the month is reserved for City Commission Workshps beginning at
10:00 a.m. to review that months' agenda.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The City Manager is recommending no regular Commission meeting in August as that is
when several Budget Workshops are scheduled.
