NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 02-08-01
REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, CURB AND
GUTTER CITY WIDE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Sunny Isles Beach is requesting
proposals for the repair of sidewalks, curbs and gutters, throughout the
City's limits. The work consists of replacing broken and cracked concrete
sidewalks, curbs and gutters.
Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, City of Sunny Isles Beach,
17070 Collins Avenue, Suite #250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160 un-
til 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 27, 2002, at which time they will be pub-
licly opened and read in the City Hall Commission Chambers. A pre -bid
tour, leaving from City Hall, will be conducted at 9:00 A.M., Friday,
September 20, 2002. The envelope containing the sealed bid must be
clearly marked "IMPORTANT - BID ENCLOSED FOR THE REPAIR OF
SIDEWALKS CURBS AND GUTTERS [RFP No. 02 -08- 011 ". Each pro-
poser must submit one original and three (3) copies of the complete -pro-
posal package. Faxed or E- mailed bids will not be accepted. Bids will not
be accepted after 10:00 A.M. on September 27, 2002 under any circum-
stances.
The specifications, special instructions, plans and other contract docu-
ments may be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk, 17070 Collins +
Avenue, Suite #250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida or by calling (305) 947-,
0606. Contract documents, plans and specifications may be ob-
tained upon payment (non - refundable) by check in the amount of
$75.00 made payable to the "City of Sunny Isles Beach ".
No bidder may withdraw his /her. proposal for a period of sixty (60) days
following the date of opening of these proposals.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and
may waive any informality in any or all proposals.
