NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH is seeking sealed bids for the following work
as specified.
CATEGORY 6
STRUCTURED CABLING SYSTEM
FOR THE SUNNY ISLES BEACH GOVERNMENT CENTER
City of Sunny Isles Beach Request for Proposal No. 04 -04-01
Sealed bids for the supply and installation of a structured telecommunica-
tions cabling system for the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center will be
received by the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m., on
Monday, May 3, 2004 at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall located
at 17070 Collins Avenue, Suite 250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160.
Each bidder must submit one original and five (55) copies of the
complete bid package. The envelope containing the sealed bid must be
clearly marked "IMPORTANT -BID ENCLOSED FOR CATEGORY 6
STRUCTURED CABLING SYSTEM [RFP NO. 04 -04 -011 ". Faxed or
e- mailed bids will not be accepted. Bids received after this time will be
returned unopened. Bids submitted will be opened publicly and read at
this time.
A MANDATORY PRE -BID Conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.,
Monday, April 26, 2004 at the City of Sunny Isles Beach City Hall located
at 17070 Collins Avenue, Suite 250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160
(305) 947 -0606. All contractors planning to submit a bid are required
to attend this meeting. Contractors should allow sufficient time to
ensure arrival prior to the indicated time. Bids from those who have failed
to attend will not be accepted. Contractors arriving past the indicated time
will not be eligible to submit a bid.
Bidders may obtain complete sets of Bidding Documents from the City
Clerk's Office at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall located at 17070
Collins Avenue, Suite 250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160 or from the
City of Sunny Isles Beach website address at www.sibfi.net.
The City of Sunny Isles Beach reserves the right to reject any or all Bids,
with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to
accept the Bid, which best serves the interest of the City of Sunny Isles
Beach.
Inquiries and requests for clarifications should be submitted to Derrick
Arias, IT Director, in writing at 17070 Collins Avenue, Suite 250, Sunny
Isles Beach, FL 33160.
