ADD. May 24, 2005
Bidders for the above - referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
Please make the following changes to the contract documents, specifications, and
plans.
In the contract documents:
Replace: 00900 -3 and 00900 -4 ADD. May 24, 2005
Insert: 00900 -5 and 00900 -6 ADD. May 24, 2005
The following additional information is provided to the Contractors
• Revised Bid opening date: June 9, 2005 at 10:00am (Section 00020 -1).
• Revised Question /RFI deadline: June 2, 2005 at 5:00pm.
• Revised final response to comments: June 6, 2005 at 5:00pm.
• Point of Contact for BFI's (Request for Information) will be Susan Simpson with
the City of Sunny Isles Beach. She will then direct the question(s) to Miller Legg
(Ron Rollins or Brian Shore) for distribution and to address the
questions /comments. Questions/ Comments regarding City and /or bid protocols
will be addressed by the City. The last day to submit questions /BFI's will be
seven (7) days prior to the bid due date. This will allow for a final addendum to
be issued three (3) days prior to the bid due date. (Section 00100 -5.2)
All other documents, specifications, drawings, terms and conditions remain the same.
Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum on Page 00300 -3.

Bidders for the above - referenced project shall take note of the following changes,

Please make the following changes to the contract documents, specifications, and
plans.
In the contract documents:
Replace: 00900 -5 and 00900 -6 ADD. May 24, 2005
Insert: 00900 -5 thru 00900 -8 ADD. June 6, 2005
The following quantities for the Landscape Spot Lighting (Site Lighting) shall be revised
to reflect the following from 4 to 9.
Replace: 00310 -1 and 00310 -2 April 10, 2005
Insert: 00310 -1 and 00310 -2 ADD. June 6, 2005
The following additional information is provided to the Contractors
• Plan sheet E -100 (Electrical Site Plan) does not indicate a total of 32 "S" fixtures.
South of the Gymnasium Building 8 fixtures have been omitted from the plan
sheet and shall be included as per indicated on plan sheet SP -1 (4/28).
Contractor shall provide for installation, wiring, etc. The original bid schedule
reflects the correct quantity of fixtures of 32.
• The drainage well structure shall provide for 2,500 gallons per minute.
• The depth of the drainage well shall be based on yielding of 2,500 gallons per
minute.

• Contractor shall provide for a 24" well grate within bid price of Drainage Well
Structure. Shop drawing shall be submitted to Engineer for review.
• Plan note on PDD -1 sheet (17/28) shall be replaced as follows:
Replace note:
7. DRAINAGE WELL SHALL BE 24" OUTSIDE DIAMETER STEEL CASING
WITH 8 INCHES WALL THICKNESS ASTM A -53.
Replace with the following:
7. DRAINAGE WELL PIPE SHALL BE 24" CORRUGATED METAL PIPE (C.M.P.)
AS PER DETAIL.
All other documents, specifications, drawings, terms and conditions remain the same.
Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum on Page 00300 -3.
