Summary Minutes
1. Will a single State or Federal audit be required as part of the proposal?
That is yet to be determined. Please show the cost of a single audit as an
optional item in your proposals.
2. Will firms be required to make a presentation?
The city staff has the option of requesting an interview/presentation from
vendors. The successful firm will be asked to make a presentation to the City
Commission.
3. What fee should be quoted?
Please quote only the fee for a basic audit and provide hourly rates for additional
services such as assisting with CAFR, GASB 34 implementation, single audit,
etc. In addition, the fee quoted for the basic audit must be firm for each of the
first three years. Beyond that, the city will negotiate with the firm.
4. What are the current audit fees?
The fee for the most recent audit was $37,000.
