A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2010-1600 ESTABLISHING A
SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2011, BY CHANGING THE FEBRUARY
17, 2011 REGULAR CITY COMMISSION MEETING TO
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2011; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to amend the schedule of City Commission
meetings for calendar year 2011 by changing the February 17,2011 Regular City Commission
Meeting to Wednesday, February 23, 2011.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Approval of Amended 2011 Schedule of Commission Meetings. The schedule for
City Commission meetings for calendar year 20 II shall be amended as set forth herein.
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3m Thursday in February:

6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in March:

Section 2.
Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

Resolution Revising City Commission Meeting 20 II Schedule
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution amending the
schedule of City Commission meetings for the remainder of the year 2011, by changing
the February 17,2011 regular meeting to February 23, 2011.
REASONS:
Due to a conflict in a Commissioner's schedule, it is requested that the February 17,2011
City Commission meeting be moved to Wednesday, February 23, 2011 beginning at 6:30
p.m.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
A Workshop is also being scheduled that evening at 5:30 p.m. to hear a presentation on
the Sunshine Law and on Ethics Regulations.
