As a concerned citizen and resident of Sunny Isles Beach since 1990 it is with great pleasure that we
respond to your request for the Professional Services required for the above referenced contract.
Architects International, Inc. is a 100% minority owned firm that offers full Architectural and Engineering
services. Established in 1980, we have remained committed to the principles of design excellence and
personalized service, providing innovative designs, energy conscience engineering, interior design,
construction administration, value engineering as well as building code inspections and plan review.
In the process of growing, we have carefully selected a solid team of professionals that bring together a
broad range of experience especially pertinent to this type of contract; our background comprises of new
construction, additions and remodeling of different types of facilities such as: educational, healthcare,
aviation, transportation, office buildings, correctional, postal services, recreational, etc...

plans, specs, etc... are reviewed by at least one other professional to ensure a continued level of
expertise. Additionally, a Quality Control checklist is kept to ensure the thoroughness of the reviewers.
The Project Manager assigned to the City of Sunny Isles Beach as well as the rest of our staff is totally
committed to successfully deliver the projects assigned completed, within budget and within the
established timeframe.

Project Manager
Architects Intemational, Inc. is currently providing Architectural and Engineering
services for this 23,000 SF state of the art Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
located at the Diagnostic Treatment Center (DTC) 3rd Floor. The central 3rd floor
area will be completely remodeled to accommodate administrative functions of
Pre-Operative services and Anesthesia. Subsequently the project was re-
accessed to provide more flexibility by remodeling the existing PACU and

these beds to be used as a separate pediatric PACU. This project went before
ACHA on March 19th, 2007 for the State 1, Schematic review (copy attached) and
project was approved with no comments. Project is now into the Design
Development Phase. The construction will be done in 3 phases with a total
construction cost of 6.5 M.
Miami-Dade County Parks & Recreation - Deerwood Park Recreation
Center
Project Manager - Design Development: Project starting with the evaluation of
the site. Design and construction of a 4,100 SF recreation building, lighted
vehicular parking lot, surrounding pathways, landscaping, and all related
infrastructure such as utilities, drainage and right of way improvements. Project
later explanted to include construction of a lighted baseball field. Provided
illumination to basketball and soccer courts as well as walkways

SUNPASS CHALLENGE I and II - In Dade, Broward & Palm Beach Counties.
Mr. Cruz is in charge of the architectural and engineering design coordination for
