To All Bidders:
Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
~ The construction budget for this project is $110,000.00.

To All Bidders:
Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
1. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 - Pre-Proposal Conference Summary Minutes and
Sign-In Sheet (attached).
2. During the pre-proposal meeting the Clerk ascertained that the pre-proposal
meeting was not advertised as "mandatory". As a result, any and all proposers
submitting a proper and complete proposal in accordance with the RFP# 11-04-
02 will not be rejected for not having attended the pre-proposal meeting. All
. proposers will be required to comply with the requirements of the RFP# 11-04-02
to be considered responsive.
3. The question was asked as to the number of stage lighting fixtures required as
part of this project. Previous response during the pre-proposal meeting: 3 or 4
per column. ADDENDUM: A total number cannot be ascertained at this
time; however, based on the input of an exterior stage lighting expert the
quantity and size of lights as well as location shall be determined. See
item #3 below.
4. The proposers shall provide an "ADD" Alternate as part of their Proposal which
shall include any and all the elements of the electrical design, permitting,
coordination, supervision, construction, and installation of the stage lighting and
all electrical connections and components associated with this project. Vendor
shall INCLUDE the cost to hire a stage lighting expert (approved by the City) to
assist both the vendor and the City during the design process to ensure that the
proper lighting and controls are provided as part of the project design and intent
of the project. The stage lighting expert shall consider, among other things, the
type and location of the proper stage lights (Le. whether- on the horizontal
support structure or on the vertical columns) and provide input and suggestions
to the proposer and the City during the conceptual and design phases of this
project. In addition to the cost of the design of the electrical, the proposer shall
include the cost of all associated design modifications resulting from the City's
review as it relates to the determinations and input of the stage lighting expert. It
is anticipated that the City will determine the inclusion or exclusion of the "ADD"
alternate at the time of contract negotiations with the successful proposer. The
total cost of the "ADD" alternate shall be clearly indicated by the proposer.
5. The amount of liquidated damages shall be set at $700.00/day. This amount
was not depicted in the RFP as posted.
6. Related Heritage Park Project plans on PDF will be posted on DemandStar as
will the single DWG file for the stage area. Copies of the prints will NOT be
provided to the proposer.
