STORM WATER CATCH BASIN CLEANING & LINE JETTING

To All Bidders:
Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
~ Section 2 paragraph 2.19 shall now read;
2.19 AVAILABILITY OF CONTRACT TO OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
Although this Solicitation is specific to the City, it is hereby agreed and understood that
other government agency may avail itself of this contract and purchase any and all items
specified herein from the successful bidder(s) at the contract price(s) established herein.
Under these circumstances, a separate purchase order shall be issued by the agency,
which identifies the requirements of the additional agency (ies).
2.19.1 OTHER PARTICIPATING CITIES

Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
~ The bid opening date listed on Demandstar is incorrect. The correct date is
Wednesday, May 25,2011 at 10:00 a.m. All Sealed Bids shall be received by
the City Clerk no later than 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the
Sunny Isles Beach Government Center located at 18070 Collins Avenue, 4th
floor, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160. Bids received after this time will not be
considered.

additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
~ Request for Information:
. What are the dimensions on the basins? What is the distance between
manholes?
Catch basin dimensions vary and should be field verified. As to the distance
between manholes it too varies.
I have attached a scan of the stormwater atlas for the City. This atlas
includes FOOT ROW which should not be included as part of the proposal.
. Do we have to have the insurance for the bid or if awarded the bid, can we
get the insurance within like 5 days?
Insurance requirements must be met upon award.
