LPA RESOLUTION NO. 2011- ~ to
A RESOLUTION OF THE LOCAL PLANNING
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING AN
ORDINANCE ENTITLED "SMALL SCALE
AMENDMENT TO THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF
THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN"; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 163.3174, Florida Statutes, the City Commission has
been designated as the Local Planning Agency for the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and
WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing to consider the small scale
amendment to the Future Land Use Map ("FLUM") of the City of Sunny Isles Beach
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency approved and recommended to the City
Commission that this small scale amendment to the FLUM be adopted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval and recommendation. The City Commission sIttmg as the Local
Planning Agency recommends and approves the small-scale amendment to the Future Land Use
Map ("FLUM") as reflected in Exhibit "A", attached hereto.
Section 2 .
Effective Date. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of September 2011.
