Yes • What would the estimated amount be? The first year would be as follows: • Per Each location • Certificate of Use $80.00 • Local Business Tax for the first machine $50.00 • Local Business Tax for each additional machine $12.00 Renewal years would be as follows: • Per Each location • Certificate of Use $35.00 • Local Business Tax for the first machine $50.00 • Local Business Tax for each additional machine $12.00 Tuesday, November 22, 2011 • The RFP asks for Healthy Only. Must the healthy be available or must healthy items be the only types of items available in the machines? Only healthy items can be available. Examples of healthy items are included in the Attachment to the RFP. • Will the city consider proposals that include a proportionate split, like a 50/50 healthy /non - healthy? The City is requesting a 100% healthy items. • With a wording such as "Healthy Organic Items must be available "? Question not understood • Will the concessions (such as the one located at Pelican Community park) be allowed to sell non - healthy and non - organic products? Currently, the concession is not operating. • Fresh Vending Concept of healthy organic is not what the industrywide defines as healthy, their franchise sales pitch is about Organic, and even then many of their products are not organic. Can you define Healthy Organic and provide a set of guidelines? Although specific guidelines are not provided, examples of acceptable healthy items are included in the Attachment to the RFP. • The RFP mentions that the Price must remain fix. Does this mean that no price increase may occur at any point throughout the 5 year period if awarded? Or that price increases may only occur on renewals? If you referring to Section 2.0 paragraph 2.5, the reference made to price in this section is only referring to your proposal to the City (i.e. Commission percentage, Flat fee or sponsorship etc). Pricing within regards to vending item may be changed throughout the life of the contract with prior approval from the City. • We could not find the evaluation criteria and the weight of each criteria, could you point us out to where can we find this? The City does not use a weight criteria or point system in the evaluation of the proposals. Please refer to Section 4 of the proposal for the evaluation process.
