Traffic Impact Studies FTE has performed several hundred traffic impact studies € following the ITE's "Transportation Impact Analyses for Site Development: An ITE Proposed Recommended Practice ", the ITE's "Parking Generation" as well as i Generation User's Guide, and the FDOT's Site Impact Handbook. From the previous L experience, we clearly understand that the critical requirements for a traffic impact study which enables the FTE to implement the review of traffic impact studies r submitted to the City and make recommendations. I Safety Technical Memorandums FTE has vast experience working in traffic operation and safety studies. FTE has completed several intersection safety memorandums and the analysis within Miami Dade County for Miami -Dade Public I Works, FDOT and MDX. Also, FTE has full access to FDOT CAR database State Roads` crash data) and is fully familiar with resolving safety concerns. In addition, our staff'' J is trained to determine discrepancies with the accident data provided by Police Officers that may require corrections or better examination. Intersection /Arterial Analysis FTE will provide an in -depth assessment of a concerned intersection based on an analysis addressing: the impact of geometric' 2 improvements, the existing and future intersection LOS, interval and phasing timing optimization, new signal timing plans, fuel consumption over benefits like reductions E in control delay and accident numbers or severity, as well as, community response among each alternative. Traffic Simulations FTE has expertise in transit micro - simulation using software such as VISSIM and Cube. In multiple projects, FTE has incorporated the results of traffic simulation work to form the basis for conclusions and recommendations to solve a range of transportation problems in such areas as freeway and arterial systems, grade- separated interchanges, traffic signal operations, maintenance of traffic plans, roundabout intersections, toll facilities, intelligent transportation systems, and the interface between autos and other travel modes. Traffic Data Collection In addition to the industry standard data collection equipment, FTE has 10 Miovision `- Video Collection Units to obtain Turning Movement Counts processed through software automation. QUALIFICATIONS Feasibility Modeling FTE is known for our ability to develop innovative and sound solutions to address macro and micro transportation issues, present and future. Our experience include developing accurate and credible traffic forecasts for some of challenging modeling projects using CUBE, SERPM 6.5, or FSUTMS. FTE is familiar with traffic growth analysis and methodologies by FDOT based on land use modification and transit oriented development. FTE is committed to provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach with a quality project on schedule. FTE values the importance of meeting milestone dates, review dates, and final submittal dates with immediate response. We also understand that a schedule is intended not only for the consultant, but also for the City to coordinate their ! resources for reviewing submittals and for reporting to other City members. Traffic Engineering Services — RFQ #11 -11 -01 1 5 r ,J Mr. Devaguptapu is a unique project manager with extensive experience related to all aspects of the scope of services. He has more than 17 years of experience with traffic data collection, traffic operations studies, traffic safety studies, project traffic reports, operational analyses, access management, and signal design. Ravi has performed quality assurance /quality control reviews on various design projects. He has been trained in Roadway Safety Audits. He has successfully managed traffic data collection and traffic engineering contracts for FDOT, Counties, and other municipalities. He has managed over 12,000 automatic traffic counts, several hundred turning movement counts, involved with over 60 traffic monitoring sites, designed several traffic signals, and has been involved with safety audits of several roadways for preparation of scoping reports. He is a registered professional engineer and a registered professional traffic operations engineer. In addition to Florida, he is registered as a P.E. in 6 other states. Furthermore, as a Principal of FTE, he has complete control of FTE's resources. Management experience includes FDOT Roadway and PD &E projects, District -wide contracts, maintaining client relationships, sub - consultant coordination, personnel management of cross - functional team and LAP project management. Josh Robinson, P.E. — Chief Engineer Mr. Robinson is a transportation engineer / planner with over 23 years of experience. He specializes in traffic design, which involves the preparation of signalization, highway lighting, signing and pavement marking, and maintenance of traffic plans. He has served as the traffic engineer of record on more than 100 projects, including 12 interstate projects. He has also successfully completed two FDOT courses for the preparation of maintenance of traffic plans. Project Experience includes traffic studies for all types of development. Mr. Robinson also specializes in Land Planning / Engineering. His expertise includes the assessment of right of way takings on individual parcels for condemning authorities and property owners. Claudia Lamus, P.E. — Project Engineer Mrs. Lamus is a project engineer with 10 years of civil engineering experience. She specializes in the analysis of traffic operations and safety studies. Mrs. Lamus has Prepared technical reports; reviewed studies prepared by others; attended meetings pertaining to existing and potential projects (regulatory agencies, etc.); and managed other technicians in the production of scope of services. She is well familiarized with Synchro, Corsim, Cube, HCS, Microstation, Petra, Trax -pro, and GIS software. Adriana Gonzalez, E.1. — Project Engineer Mrs. Gonzalez has 10 years of civil engineering experience including the preparation of plans for FDOT and Municipalities. She is intimately familiar with Microstation, AutoCAD and Descartes software. Also Mrs. Gonzalez has experience in scoping reports and traffic and safety analyses. Charles M. Sloan — Data Collection Manager Sloan has over 23 years of experience in collecting and entering TCI, RCI and HPMS data. He is trained in RCI -2 and attended the "Train the Trainer" course. He is certified in BT -04 -0005, BT -04 -0039, BT -04 -0040, BT- 04 -0041, BT -04 -0042, BT -04 -0043, and has received training in RITA. He has collected and /or managed RCI /HPMS data in Districts 1, 4, 6 and 7. He has collected and /or managed TO data in Districts 1, 2, 3 ,4, 51 6, and 7. He is also proficient with PTMS inspection and installation. He manages field crews and has been responsible for obtaining and executing various traffic count and RCI data collection contracts. Paresh Patel, AICP - Planner Mr. Paresh has over 21 years of experience in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning Projects. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects including the FSUTMS modeling, transportation analysis, construction cost estimate and review of Traffic Impact Statements. Kranthi Kavuri, E.I. — Engineer Intern Ms. Kavuri has 4 years of experience in Traffic Engineering. She has performed traffic studies including traffic forecasting, traffic counts, vehicle classifications, functional classification studies, turning movement studies, speed studies, travel time & delay studies, parking studies, vehicle gap studies. Ravi Kamarajugadda — Project Engineer Ravi Kamarajugadda has over eleven years of experience and has been involved with traffic studies, signal warrant studies, intersection analyses, sight distance studies, gap studies, delay studies, as well as traffic data collection, including vehicle counts and turning movement counts. He has conducted travel time and delay runs, data reduction, and analysis for four (4) signal system projects. In addition, he was involved with three major travel time and delay projects totaling 400 miles of roadways. For Sarasota County and Manatee County signal system projects, Ravi has assisted with data collection, data analysis, platoon progression diagrams, and timing development. He is proficient in Synchro and SimTraffic. He has extensive experience working with PC Travel and Tru- Traffic TS /PP programs. He has extensive experience in creating and maintaining web sites. Lallydoa Rivero — Senior Engineer Technician Ms. Rivero is a Planning and Statistics coordinator responsible for preparing schedules, reports, etc. to achieve company objectives. She has over 12 years of experience as an engineering technician, as well as an assistant project manager providing technical support to the engineering and marketing department. Ms. Rivero is responsible for coordinating the production process to ensure that orders meet customer requirements and quality standards. These professionals have extensive experience working in previous contracts with the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami -Dade County, City of Miami Beach, Lee County, Collier County, Broward County, City of Cape Coral, City of Sanibel, Charlotte County, Sarasota County, Manatee �.
