A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
BOARD OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE CITY'S
EFFORTS AND IN KEEPING WITH THE "MISSION
STATEMENT" DATED APRIL 24, 2007, WHICH READS IN
PART, "TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS AS A
SOURCE OF HISTORY AND HERITAGE IN THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA. "; AGREEING TO AND
AUTHORIZING THE PRODUCTION OF A HISTORICAL
FILM OF THE 88 YEAR HISTORY OF THE CITY OF
SUNNY ISLES /SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Historical Preservation Board is to designate, preserve,
protect and maintain historic buildings, areas, sites, artifacts, memorabilia, and promote public
awareness as a source of history and heritage in the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,
wishes to express its support in keeping with the "mission statement" to promote public
awareness as a source of history and heritage in the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida by
agreeing and authorizing the production of a film depicting the 88 year history of the City of
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
BOARD OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing recital paragraphs are hereby ratified
and confirmed as being true and the same are hereby made part of this Resolution.
Section 2. Expression of Support and Approval. The Historic Preservation Board of the
City of Sunny Isles Beach hereby expresses its support and approval to produce a historical film
of the 88 year history of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution will become effective upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 151-day of A 2008.
