Bettoli Trading Corp.
IIII Item 1 Company Information Bettoli Trading Corp. D/B/A Bettoli Vending Established on November 2000. It was created by the acquisition of a small vending company with 350 active machines. We have been located at 6095 NW 167th street Suite D5, Miami, FL. 33015 since the year 2001. After an intensive analysis, education within the industry and mastering the technological advances of the industry, we started our significant growth in 2007. Today we have over 1800 active machines, growing over 350% in less than 10 years. Our growth has not been coincidental. It was the result of a perfect mix of proper operation, implementation of proven technologies, education to our staff and dedication to our clients. Today, we ' i _ - ; 'figfe^ ` - --_,--'1 ,-.7.,, -..1;1;,,,-,-a-i.4,1Y-T-igtif:-----c7---:,. -,.:,.., _ -r- :i- .:..----k.,..,a,k, . .,, ,.,fit 0 •,_-...5,. , , t,,, ,- . _ 2"*".:. -,_,,,.:-,„,i;_A r . 1; -- . ;i e 3 ! iti (VV al operate with over 30 employees; who are trained by strict industry standards. Being the only company in South Florida with industry certified executive, Journeyman/Technicians and Route Driver. araammum The industry progresses and we have always kept up with proven technologies that provide benefits to our clients and customers. 40 Goin Recently, we have integrated immediate customer service communication byintegrating mobile appmouottS„, o g g pages into our forms of communication. This form has been welcome primarily by our young L° customers, whom also have put stress into the healthier product "° ° mcnximazi lineups. 0 • ' =4 The technology has also been our best allied E` `` on beating the stigma of accountability in this _ C\ ` 1 industry. Being able to show such level of data is keyon ensuringmoneyis accounted i properly. . . ` . . The technologycontinues to advance. . q Currently we have reached a level in which . __ . - " most problems are electronically reported by the machine directly to us without human intervention. As well confirm site visits if in doubt. ..f. — r .r, For the past 5 years we have Z § .* integrated technology further by I Y s providing our staff with smartphones able to provide video conference. This y 3, gip; i-z has reduced our response time to service calls significantly. Manytimes - r rte : 9 Y —-;-- -. -----,- ' - "L i „ - ,; . _ the closest staff to a machine is not ;' : ., the service technician. However with video conference the route staff is ,-,2 ' ' ' .Y :.. able to quickly show what the problem } f is providing us the ability to speed up ,- the response. Either by allowing the ,.,42 ..' Ste'', s , office to know if a not common part IIImight be needed or simply by informing the staff in front of the machine what to do to place the machine back in operation, many times reducing the service call to just minutes from the reported time. The city currently has 12 machines. These machines can all be serviced in 1 day with repeat service for those machines that require it as needed. Currently we service these machines. And within the next couple of months we will be deploying the automation software to this route as we have already deployed it on 35% of the company and expect full deployment in 3 months. Our plan would be to time the deployment of the new machines with the software deployment. We will be able to complete the vending machine swaps within 30 days of award. Our service fleet is integrated by multiple route man and technicians. Some of them with Journeyman Designation training by the National Automatic Merchandising Association. Proposed Services Our management plan is to install the proper equipment for each location. And schedule service at twice per week at community centers and once per week for all other areas. Schedule will be adjusted every 2 weeks during the following 2 months. We will maintain communication with the different departments so we can adjust schedule for special events such as summer camps and city wide events. The operations department will be placed on our emergency list for pre and post hurricane emergency stops. As it comes to equipment, we have used all brands and have tested most models available. We are willing to work with the City if a specific brand/model is necessary. On the next few pages you will see catalogs corresponding to many of these models. Our plan is to implement 100% ADA compliant equipment. With 4in1+ Credit Card acceptors in all machines, the 4in1+ is a device able to accept multiple forms of payments such as, credit card, mobile payments (Apple Pay, Android pay, etc.), RFID Credit Cards and allows us to combine it with the bill acceptor which can be program to accept up to 0 $20 bills. All machines can be installed in one day. However, to ensure a successful installation schedule we would recommend to install in 2 days, being the incumbent vendor it would guarantee a smooth transition plan. For snack machines: Our preference is to use the state ._- tsucli I . of the art, Crane Merchant Media. In both models (4 _ y :0 c7 '. columns wide and 6 columns wide), We have used . 4 . these machines successfully. We always inspect and eitrezt,)11, 3 test all models of machines available in the NAMA ONE ;t 1 I i4 . ,- .„,-- .,.,. ; SHOW, where the top 10 vending machine ®J manufacturers are present, we are happy to discuss -; 7A any ideas the City may have. .... 51)L4 For Beverage Machines we plan to use Royal Vendors _ .1 , e m for Closed front machines and Bevmax 4 for the glass ti front machines. The machine would be chosen based on volume and location. For the ice-cream machines our plan is to use the Leader in the industry of Ice cream vending, Fastcorp with its robotic arm delivery system. These machines can also handle frozen food where 0 needed. The same cashless devices would also be - rol' --- used on these machines. :_,,,_ 1. Please see the factory brochures on the next pages, ., ti here you can see that the machines we plan to use a meet tier 2 energy star rating. And the snack machines do not display it because the rating is only ----'1444 /0-. -- . applied to refrigerated machines. However, even the snack machines are program to power down the lights after long periods of inactivity. General maintenance will occur when the equipment is service. On a seasonal basis the machines will undergo a through clean/lube maintenance. Also, the staff is train to spot and report maintenance issues before they become a problem, ensuring continuity of service. Refunds will be handle in a method as chosen by the city. Different methods may be proposed for the same site. 1. Cash system. We can leave a refund bank for an onsite person to handle the refunds. 2. Coupons. We can leave coupons that may be used in the machines as regular cash for a free item. 3. Cash by mail. We can mail refunds as these are requested directly to each 0 customer. 4. Any of these systems may be used in combination with our information app. 41Available at www.VendinqRefunds.com this will guide you thru one of Multiple choices such as Refunds, Products requests, Service requests, etc. We still want to make mentioned that all our machines are equipped with Sensors that will ensure delivery of the product and are design to over deliver product in case of failure. This significantly reduces the number of service calls and almost eliminates the need for refunds. All NAMA standards, CFW, will be followed during services as we do in all our other machines. (Clean, Filled,Working). In some locations extra cleaning will be needed due to the weather conditions that occurred next to the ocean. New machines brought to replace current equipment will be ADA compliant as per the 2010 guidelines. We preferred to maintain the Coca Cola Product Line up but are willing to work with the city if a change is desired, as we currently work with both major bottlers as well as many other independent brands. Since the space is limited at all the sites, we would not be able to offer multiple bottler machines at a single location. At some locations we'll be able to provide non-branded machines that may be stocked with items from any bottler. All publicly accessible machines will have cashless device acceptance as well as any other mutually agreed upon location. ® Our experience deploying contracts with over 300 machines has given us the confidence that we can certainly handle the city's need and our standard methodology for deployment should exceed the city's expectations. See catalogs in the next few pages. ID Item 5 Cost Proposal We have submitted multiple pricing options for the city to choose from. Please see the multiple options in the next upcoming pages. Please notice that our prices are the same for Cash or Credit. We do not charge extra for Cashless (or give a "discount" for cash purchase). The industry has grown to this proposal of adding an additional 10 cents for credit card purchase and getting around the law by placing stickers on the machine that ascertain that the prices posted include a 10 cents discount for cash buyers. This creates confusion, customer dissatisfaction, and a general feeling of disappointment. We have seen a better response from our customer base by maintaining the same price cash or credit.
