CITY RFQ NO. 13-03-01
To All Bidders:

additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in

Response to Questions:
What does PCP stand for? I would like to be able to assign it to one of the
location names on the RFP.
Pelican Community Center which is assigned to the Cultural Human
Services at 18115 North Bay Road.
Can you fax me at least 2 months of statements for the other 2 locations?
Currently, the City only has merchant services for Parking, PCP (Cultural
Human Services) and Visitor (Tourist) Center. As such, there are no other
statements to provide. We are looking to add merchant services to the
additional departments which includes transaction types for Building
Permits and Business Tax/Code Enforcement Fees.
We are working on a response to your RFP for Merchant Services. We
have noticed that the Affidavits require notarization and that the Notary
section has been pre-filled with “Notary Public – State of Florida”.
TransFirst is a national corporation with headquarters in New York and
Divisional headquarters in Kansas. Is it a requirement that the Notary is a
State of Florida Notary Public?
It is not required.
In your pricing sheet there is a question about intercha nge fees and it's a
little bit confusing since there are over 400 interchange fees and it will be
hard to name them all. Please let me know if there is other way you would
like this information (all the interchange fees are listed on Visa and MC
website).
Please include the list of interchange fees available on the Visa and MC
website and whether there is any adjustment to that pricing as part of your
proposal.
The price sheet also asks for pin pricing and we don't see anywhere in
your list of terminals a pin pad; are you planning to add pin pads?
There is a possibility of this addition. At this point, we are asking for
pricing.
On the list of terminals there are only 2 terminals being used; was this a
typo? Are you planning to add more?
Yes, as noted in the RFP Section 3.5. the City is looking to add at
minimum 2 POS terminals and 2 hand-held mobile terminals.
Community Development Department, once it's up and running; do you
foresee that department using a swiped or keyed in? Card present or via a
3w2eb site
Initially, we will require a swipe terminal. However, in the future, the City
may also include an online payment terminal
