Audio Visual System Upgrade
CITY RFP NO. 13-06-01
To All Bidders:
Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes,
additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in
accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence
over anything shown or described otherwise.
Amendment to Section 3.3 SCOPE OF SERVICES
Upgrade of Sunny Isles Beach Commission Chambers video system, to include:
Replace four existing analog robotic cameras with four robotic HD
cameras, including all necessary signal and control cabling in
existing conduit to AV Control Room. At least one camera, which
will replace the existing center rear mounted unit in Commission
Chambers, should be equipped with a zoom range capable of a 4.5
mm wide angle view to ensure full coverage of existing Commission
Chambers dais seating. (Distance from camera to dais leading
edge approximately 24’; width across dais front for seating span
approximately 33’.)
Note: Robotic camera control unit must include a minimum of
10 (ten) position presets. Camera control unit to provide auto
focus, auto iris, and auto white balance functions with manual
override capabilities.
Optional Item – Replacement of Dais Monitors
Replace 10 (ten) existing standard definition monitors at each dais seat
position with HD monitor. Each Monitor is housed in a built in pop up console
with a MAXIMUM internal width clearance of 15 inches. Video source for
monitors is provided by VGA connection.
