HomeMy WebLinkAboutAdd No 1Friday, May 12, 2017 Addendum No. 1 CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH Informational Touchscreen Kiosks and Software Services CITY RFP NO. 17-04-01 To All Bidders: Bidders for the above-referenced project shall take note of the following changes, additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or described otherwise.  Response to Questions: 1. How many kiosks are you looking for? Approximation? Please refer to section 2.1 of the solicitation. 2. What languages are you looking to support? Please refer to section 3.22 of the solicitation. 3. Do you have specific analytical needs? Vendor is expected to lead design meetings with City staff to come up with the final kiosk software design/implementation, as explained is section 3 .2 of the solicitation. 4. Are you open to allowing advertisements to be expressed on the kiosks? No. 5. Are you allowing for right of way installation? No. 6. Do you currently have municipal WIFI infrastructure in place? Yes. 7. Do you have video surveillance programs in place? Yes. 8. Do you own fiber assets? No. Friday, May 12, 2017 9. Do you own pole assets? Yes. 10. Jurisdiction: City of Sunny Isles Beach This is correct, the sealed bids must be received no later than 2:30 PM on the bid due date. 11. Whether companies from Outside USA can apply for this? Vendor must explain in their response how they will provide on -site hardware support and maintenance if they do not have a local presence. 12. Whether we need to come over there for meetings? No, but this will be a consideration in the evaluation of responses and selection of a vendor. Response should explain how vendor proposes to hold meetings with City staff to discuss and evaluate the de sign and implementation of the kiosk software. 13. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA? Design yes, but what about installation and maintenance? 14. Can we submit the proposals via email? No, proposals received via email/fax will be disqualified. 15. We do not have an office inside Miami -Dade or Broward Counties. We ask that you waive this requirement or allow us to hire a 3rd party with offices in the aforementioned area to represent us.
