About five years ago we decided to switch this field, which is home to our Junior Varsity and Varsity Football,Soccer and Lacrosse teams, from natural grass to 1 synthetic turf. Our field is very busy all year and the installation of this field was paramount to keep our athletes safe. When we began our I research for the best field to install,it was imperative to us that the finish product was as important as the work done for the sub base and the installation of the turf. In doing our research we came to the determination that the product we chose was the best product for Ransom Everglades, not only because of the product but because of the company that was responsible for the 1 installation, Ballard Sports. I can honestly tell you that all of the accolades and commendations that we have received for our field are due in large part to 1 the experience and expertise of Ballard Sports. They were extremely professional throughout the installation process, walking us through all the steps of the sub base and drainage, the intricacies of their installation techniques and taking great care and attention to detail during installation. Even today, I can pick up the phone and call any of the managers responsible for the 1 installation and speak with them and get feedback about care, problems, etc. Just recently we ran into a situation with our lights on the field and it required having the turf being pulled back. I picked up the I phone and called Vic Procopio, who was the person in charge of the Ransom Everglades project, and he mobilized a team member from North Carolina to be here in Miami the next day so that we could be ready for that evenings Soccer game. I The professionalism and service that was provided to Ransom Everglades by Ballard Sports for our field renovation is unmatched. Our field has been host to numerous high school events, college soccer and was also host to a professional soccer match. We have only received great comments regarding our field including high remarks from Soccer purists who have strongly support I playing on natural grass surfaces. The playability of our field is superb and the field is always in perfect condition to play with permanent football, soccer and lacrosse lines in-laid into the turf. IIf you have any more questions regarding our field and would like to come and visit our field, please feel free to let me know. I wish you the best in your search for your project and would highly recommend that whatever your plans call for, that Ballard ISports a component to your project. Ballard Sports not only performed beyond expectations but also developed a partnership with the District. The field was the first of its kind for the District, thus the project was of great interest to not only District personnel, but also many community members. The need to have this project completed without a hitch was more than a necessity, it was a certainty. There was very little margin for delays, errors or incompetence. Ballard Sports took these challenges head on and was able to complete the project with quality and as promised. Ballard Sports went above and beyond to make this project as easy as possible for the District. Their willingness to work with the District as necessary was only outdone by their craftsmanship and knowledge of the project itself. I do not recall any major problems during the project, and any minor issues were quickly resolved. Furthermore, their staff worked diligently;in particular the District was assisted greatly by Vic Procopio and Doug Mynter. The District was extremely pleased with Ballard Sports as was the community and personnel, especially the players and coaches at Barron Collier High School. The District then went on to award four(4)more synthetic grass fields to Ballard Sports. All projects were performed with the same knowledge and craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend Ballard Sports on any future projects. If you would like further information on this project and/or Ballard Sports, please feel free to contact me. ISincerely, David W.
