ENERGY EFFICIENCY The firm has been leading the push for sustainability in the built environment in South Florida. Our climate has unique challenges where sustainable architecture has been more widely embraced. Our team is balanced with in-house LEED accredited architects and engineers with extensive experience in integrating multiple innovative energy reduction initiatives into a wide variety of educa- tional facilities for both existing buildings and in the de- sign of major renovations and new buildings. Where ap- propriate to the design and locale of the facility,as well as the total cost of ownership making economic sense, our designs incorporate renewable energy systems. WA has demonstrated expertise in the application of current technology and building systems as well as awareness of new technology available or being developed that can yield even greater cost effective energy savings. WA provides innovative, multi-disciplined design services coupled with practical, cost-effective project management. The firm offers the following in-house professional services in the follow- ing disciplines that will be produced by in-house staff. The only services WA does not perform with in-house staffing are structural engineering and landscape architecture.
