Questions & Answers: 1. May we have the bid tabulations from the last time the project was up for bid? Yes, attached. 2. Who is currently providing the service and how much are they currently billing per cut? Lukes-Sawgrass Landscaping, Inc. Please refer to attached Reso for additional information. 3. Is there a budget for this contract? Please feel free to review the CAdopted Budget. Landscaping is one of many maintenance services included in the Cand is not a line item of its own. Landscaping services is itemized within separate departments. This RFP is issued in accordance with our policy to ensure competitive bids with landscape contractors every 5 years. Revisions: (Note: Deletions will be indicated by strikethrough, additions will be indicated with bold font): A. In all places where Cygon is referenced please remove and replace with Imidacloprid or Safari. Section:3.8.7 SPECIALTY PALM/TREE CARE (Right-of-Ways) and 3.7.7 SPECIALTY PALM/TREE CARE (Parks and Recreation) / Disease Control: B. Should symptoms of Ganoderma develop on any palm, diseased palms shall be immediately removed and discarded in a landfill. If Ganoderma is detected in the form of visible conks, to mitigate the risk of disease translocation, immediately drench the entire conk with undiluted Chlorine bleach and then carefully separate them from the trunk, contain them in a ziplock bag and discard them at a landfill. Remove the host palm from the site as soon as possible. Contractor shall regularly inspect all palms for the presence of conks. Should any evidence or suspicion of the presence of Ganoderma become evident, Contractor shall immediately notify the City.
