HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2018-2887 RESOLUTION NO. 2018- nil A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY BEACH CLUB ACQUISITION, LLC FOR THE PLACEMENT OF TWO (2) TEMPORARY BANNERS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 18501 COLLINS AVENUE, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Beach Ocean Club Acquisition, LLC. ("Applicant") submitted an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beach requesting to place two (2) temporary banners at the approved Turnberry Ocean project located at 18501 Collins Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the request to place two (2) temporary banners at the approved Turnberry Ocean project located at 18501 Collins Avenue for a period not to exceed one (1) year. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval. Pursuant to Section 265-14 of the Code of Sunny Isles Beach, the City Commission hereby approved the request submitted by the Applicant, subject to the conditions imposed by the City Manager or designee. Section 2. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 3. Conditions. The Applicant shall comply with any condition required by the City Manager or designee prior to installment of the temporary banner. Section 4. Effective Date. No. PZ2018-11 RECOMMENDATION: This item is presented for the approval of the City Commission. REASONS: Beach Club Acquisition, LLC, the Applicant, submitted an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beach requesting to place two temporary banners for the approved Turnberry Ocean Club project located at 18501 Collins Avenue. The two banners are required to be placed according to plans submitted with this application. The banners must be removed from the tower no later than one (1) year from the date of the approval, unless an extension is provided by City Manager or designee. Banners cannot be relocated.
