CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scholl at 5:00 p.m., with the following officials <br />present: <br />Mayor George “Bud” Scholl <br />Vice Mayor Jeanette Gatto <br />Commissioner Isaac Aelion <br />Commissioner Dana Goldman <br />Commissioner Jennifer Levin <br />City Manager Christopher J. OPENING REMARKS <br />Action: Mayor Scholl gave opening remarks <br /> <br /> <br />3. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br /> 3A. Presentation/Discussion regarding the Transportation Master Plan. <br /> <br /> Action: City Manager Russo said the main reason for this work session was to give the <br />Commission some more insight for what is not a finished process which is the traffic flow as <br />it relates to the expansion of the Government Center and the new school. Planning and <br />Zoning Administrator Claudia Hasbun said this is the Traffic Impact and Share Parking <br />Study Analysis for the Government Center Expansion Project, and will be presented to the <br />Commission by Salman Rathore of the Corradino Group. <br /> Public Speakers: Salman Rathore; Gabriella Blagerman <br /> <br /> Salman Rathore, Project Manager, Traffic Engineer with the Corradino Group gave a <br />PowerPoint presentation on the Government Center Expansion Project, Traffic Impact <br />Analysis, and the Share Parking Analysis. The purpose of the Study is to analyze the current <br />and future traffic impacts that the project will have on the roadways and intersections, and to <br />make sure we have enough capacity for the infrastructure concern to be able to handle the <br />extra project traffic. The report is still in draft and we will continue to make changes as we <br />get comments and feedback, and do different reviews, before finalizing the report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Rathore said this is a Mixed-Use Project with an elementary school, a middle school, <br />general office building, performing arts, civic center, a fitness center and a senior facility. <br />Before they started working on the Project, the Parking Impact Study or the Shared Parking <br />ATTENTION ALL LOBBYISTS: CITY LAW REQUIRES YOUR REGISTRATION PRIOR TO ENGAGING IN <br />LOBBYING ACTIVITIES BEFORE CITY STAFF, BOARDS, COMMITTEES OR THE CITY COMMISSION. <br />PLEASE CONTACT THE CITY CLERK FOR FORMS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
