CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 7:32 p.m., with the following officials <br />present: <br />Mayor Norman S. Edelcup <br />Vice Mayor Lewis J. Thaler <br />Commissioner Roslyn Brezin <br />Commissioner Gerry Goodman <br />Commissioner Danny Iglesias <br /> <br />City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br />City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br />City Clerk Jane A. Hines <br />Planning and Zoning Administrator Jorge Vera <br /> <br />Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks of decorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/INVOCATION <br />Action: Loretta Mufson and her son Nicholas of the North Miami Beach Optimist Little <br />League led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Richard C. Schulman gave an invocation. <br /> <br />3. APPROV AL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />3A. Regular City Commission Meeting - July 14,2005. <br />Action: Vice Mayor Thaler made a correction on page 13 second paragraph from the bottom <br />to read Vice Mayor Thaler asked what the City how many TDRs... <br /> <br />Commissioner Goodman moved and Vice Mayor Thaler seconded a motion to approve the <br />above-mentioned Summary Minutes as amended. The motion was approved by a voice <br />vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />4. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments) <br /> <br />4A. Request to Hear Items: Hear Item l2A (Beachwalk), 12B (Jazz Fest) and 10D (Crescent <br />Heights) before item 7A; new request by Jazz Fest to defer l2B. <br /> <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup noted the above changes and that Jazz Fest (12B) now wants this <br />item to be deferred but Mayor Edelcup noted that he would like to hear l2B to get a consensus <br />
