Our project manager and superintendent are trained in the use of all software employed at Link and
attend quarterly meetings with in -house staff to learn and enforce the best practices from pervious and current projects.
Their involvement with the schedule begins during the design phase and continues through closeout.
u
Our Project Manager is held responsible for the schedule and reviews itwith the Super-
intendent and the Director of Operations weekly, daily if needed. Then, at the weekly
subcontractor meeting, the Project Manager then meets with the subcontractors on
site that week and the subcontractors expected on the jobsite within the following two
weeks . A two -week look ahead schedule is produced and distributed to all appropriate
subcontractors and suppliers.
Our Project Engineer tracks detailed activities for material suppliers, fabricators, man-
ufacturers and shipping agents. They identify when submittals are required by subs
as well as inform the design consultants when submittals are required back from their
office. By including submittal reviews in the schedule, the architect is better able to
respond to the project team's needs in a timely manner.
Our Project Manager also updates and reviews the Master Schedule with the owner
and highlights recent issues as they relate to the overall project execution. By monitor-
ing performance on a regular basis, Link Construction Group is able to resolve issues
long before they reach the crisis stage. Through aggressive scheduling and cost con-
trol, we consistently strive to reduce costs, increase accountability, maintain or shorten
timeframes, and improve jobsite collaborations and productivity.
RFQ No. 13 -08 -01 Gateway Park Pedestrian Access Improvements I Step 1
