® Furthermore, RMI is certified under the Florida Department of Transportation for the following categories as required under minimum <br />requirements section: <br />' Minor Bridges; <br />1 CONSTRUCTION — ANZAC CONTRACTORS, INC. <br />The company was founded in Miami, Florida on January 6, 1971 by Russell G. McNamara. Being a proud native of Australia, Russ <br />named the company Anzac Contractors, Inc. , which is an acronym for 'Australia New Zealand Army Corp'. The company has been <br />continuously engaged in Civil and Highway /Heavy Construction in the South Florida area ever since its inception. In the early years the <br />company was primarily involved in Water & Sewer Plant Construction which then lead into Water & Sewer Pump Stations. Anzac <br />developed a proprietary design on a Sewer Pump Station that for many years was one of only two designs approved for use in new <br />construction by the Miami -Dade County Water & Sewer Authority Department. <br />1 Over the past 20 years or more, Anzac has been actively involved in Bridge & Highway Construction working on projects for the Florida <br />Department of Transportation, Miami -Dade County Public Works Department, Broward County Highway Construction & Engineering <br />Division, South Florida Water Management, Army Corps of Engineers as well as many other local Cities, Public Agencies and Private <br />Owners & Developers. The management team has over 180 years of combined experience in bridge construction, water & sewer plant <br />construction, sanitary & storm sewer pump stations, seawall & ship berth construction, marine construction, flood control structures, <br />cofferdam & tremie seal installations, pile driving and drilled shaft foundations, excavation, drainage & roadwork, heavy rigging and <br />erection projects, industrial electrical work and industrial painting. <br />We have a long term staff of well trained and experienced pile drivers, carpenters, ironworkers and equipment operators. We have a <br />fleet of company owned heavy equipment including cranes, pile driving and drilling equipment, bridge screeds, track excavators, <br />loaders, tractor trailers and heavy -haul lowboys and all the necessary support equipment to construct the work we are contracted for. <br />We operate the company from the Executive Offices that we own at 7475 SW 50 Terrace, Miami, FL 33155.
