<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />West Mashta Drive Bridge', Key Biscayne, Florida
<br />Project Manager for this Design /Build project in which the firm
<br />created a new 45 -foot arched single-spon bridge allowing tidal
<br />Rushing of previously dead -end canals, resulting in a cleaner,
<br />more pleasant environment. The bridge's Mediterranean design
<br />incorporates keystone detailing, decorative rails and lighting,
<br />landscaping and pavers. To minimize inconvenience to Mashta
<br />Island residents and others using the bridge, embankments,
<br />utilities, water, wastewater, electrical and telephone were
<br />relocated during the construction and were then incorporated
<br />into the new bridge.
<br />Equestrian Bridge at C 1 1 Canal', Davie, Florida
<br />Senior Engineer for a bridge over a lateral of the C -I I canal, to
<br />improve safety of an existing equestrian trail running along the
<br />north bank of the C I I and parallel to Orange Drive.
<br />SR 70 Bridge Replacement over Slough Ditch, Highlands
<br />County, FDOT District 1 `
<br />Senior Project Engineer for the preparation of full roadway and
<br />bridge plans for the replacement of a 195 foot bridge structure
<br />over the SFWMD and the C 4 1 A Canal. The proposed structure
<br />is a 210 foot seven span cast- inrplace bridge using phased
<br />construction. This project included biological and contamination
<br />assessments, as well as established wetlands jurisdictional limits.
<br />Analysis and computer hydraulic modeling of river and river
<br />basins as part of Bridge Hydraulics Report. Coordination with
<br />the Florida Department of Transportation requirements and
<br />criteria, including Programmatic Exclusion Environmental
<br />assessments. Also, assisted in the coordination of ERP permitting
<br />with SFWMD and Army Corp. of Engineers including
<br />delineation of wetlands.
<br />Unnamed Branch Bridge on CR 2343 (fenks Avenue),
<br />Bay County, FDOT District 3'
<br />Senior Project Engineer for the preparation of roadway plans to
<br />replace a single span bridge with a skewed double barrel
<br />reinforced concrete box culvert. Design included the
<br />establishment of a detour route and detour bridge. Preparation
<br />of bridge culvert hydraulics report.
<br />Cornell Branch Bridge on Cornell Drive, Bay County,
<br />FDOT District 3'
<br />Senior Project Engineer for the preparation of roadway plans to
<br />replace a single span 30 foot bridge with a double barrel
<br />reinforced concrete box culvert. The plans included roadway
<br />geometrics, drainage design, utility adjustments and the
<br />establishment of a detour route. Preparation of bridge culvert
<br />hydraulics report.
<br />Bridge Creek Bridge on CR 10A, Holmes County, FDOT
<br />District 3`
<br />Senior Project Engineer for the preparation of approach
<br />roadway plans for the replacement of an existing 60 foot
<br />bridge with a new three span 90 loot structure. This project
<br />required the establishment of a detour route and detour bridge
<br />and preparation of bridge hydraulics report.
<br />SR l0A (US 90 Cervantes Street) Bridge Replacement
<br />over Bayou Texor in Escombia County, FDOT District 3'
<br />Senior Project Engineer for the preparation of full roadway and
<br />bridge plans for the replacement of a 155.8 meter f51 I L.F.j
<br />four lone bridge over coastal waters and reconstruction of
<br />509.1 meters (1670 L.F.j of approach roadway. The bridge is
<br />to be constructed using phased construction and maintaining
<br />four lanes of traffic operational at all times. This is being
<br />accomplished through the use of a two lone acrow bridge built
<br />over the Bayou with sheet pile abutments into the Bayou. The
<br />project has architectural features as well as bridge and
<br />roadway lighting. Analysis and computer hydraulic modeling of
<br />Carpenter Creek river basin and Estuary. This project included
<br />hydraulic analysis of storm surge and tidal action. Coordination
<br />with FOOT, U.S. Coast Guard and Army Corp. of Engineers.
