During this time he has built <br />multi - million dollar projects from initial to final phase, commercial developments to custom single family housing, has <br />carried out daily on -site inspections and supervision, maintaining excellent communication skills and safety standards. He <br />has acquired building permits and supervised project construction as well as review of plans and specifications. <br />EDUCATION Master Plan was prepared that included a computerized model <br />Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Norwich of the entire system and public workshops and meetings were <br />University, Northfield, Vermont, 2009 held to inform and educate the residents of the work and cost <br />involved in the project. The firm also prepared special taxing <br />Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Florida International districts and an EQCB Variance to detail the finances of this <br />University, Miami, Florida, 1990 $23 million project. <br />REGISTRATIONS <br />Engineering Intern # 1100009198, State of Florida <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Ferry Station, Port of Miami', Fisher Island Ferry <br />Terminal, Miami, Florida <br />Senior Inspector for the repair and rehabilitation of a 30-year <br />old water platform in Government Cut, Miami Beach. The <br />existing fivelone Ferry Terminal serves as the main entry point <br />for residents. The terminal extends over a salt -water canal and is <br />composed of precast slabs spanning between reinforced <br />concrete bents supported by prestressed piles. Nineteen of the <br />existing structure's sxty -five floor slab units were replaced and <br />extensive repairs of the substruction piling, beams, and <br />bulkheads were done. A full redesign of new precast slabs, <br />and extensive plans depicting construction phasing and repair <br />methods and sequencing were provided to the client. <br />Construction was divided into four phases, so that all repairs <br />were able to take place without closing the terminal. Also <br />completed was permitting through FDEP, Miami Dade County <br />DERM, ACOE, and the Miami Beach Building Department. <br />29"' Street Bridge Repairs', Miami Beach, Florida <br />Construction Administration and Engineering Inspector for <br />various structural repairs completed, which included spoiling, <br />crocking, and delineations. The heavily deteriorated beams, <br />bents, and deck underside were fully rehabilitated. The bridge <br />was fully operational during the entire duration of the project, <br />and delivered ahead of schedule and within budget. <br />Pinecrest Watermain Master Plan and System Design', <br />Pinecrest, Florida <br />Senior Inspector for the design clover 27 miles of watermain to <br />complete the potable water system of the entire Village. The <br />Sunset Drive Improvements (West of US 1 j', South Miami, <br />Florida <br />Senior Inspector for this master planning project involving the <br />development of conceptual streetscope and infrastructure <br />improvements along Sunset Drive from the western city limits to <br />US 1. These include delineating intersections with concrete pavers <br />and crosswalks, redefining roadways sections, and providing <br />new lighting and landscape design to increase public safety and <br />appeal. In addition, a new architectural site plan for City Hall <br />was designed incorporating surrounding public spaces and <br />facilities to create an enhanced civic and community space. The <br />master plan was developed substantially in accordance with the <br />City's Hometown Pion Area 2, and evaluated proposed <br />improvements with respect to their feasibility, cost/benefit, <br />design, and construction. In addition, the firm held three public <br />workshops to collect public opinions and suggestions, and <br />ensured the Master Plan was reflective of, and sensitive to the <br />community. <br />Palmetto Bay Villogewide Drainage Improvements', <br />Palmetto Bay, Florida <br />Senior Inspector for this project that involved field surveying, <br />design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration of <br />drainage improvements at 10 locations throughout the Village. <br />These 10 areas were identified by the Village as having <br />flooding problems. The improvements included new drainage <br />structures, exfiltrotion trenches, outfalls, and asphalt overlays. <br />The project was completed on schedule and under budget. <br />Capital Improvements Program Master Plan', Golden <br />Beach, Florida <br />Senior Inspector for this comprehensive Capital Improvements <br />Program Master Plan that focuses on several major improvement <br />areas: town -wide drainage improvements; utilities underground <br />relocation (electrical, telephone, cable); and town -wade <br />streetscope & traffic calming. <br />1 ' denotes projects completed with other firms One Team.
