Gateway Park Center PERKINS+WILL <br /> 810495.00 <br />12/06/18 <br />032000-1 Concrete Reinforcement and Embedded Assemblies <br />SECTION 032000 <br />CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT AND EMBEDDED ASSEMBLIES <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />Work of this Section shall conform to requirements of Drawings and general provisions <br />of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 <br />Specification sections. <br />1.2 SCOPE <br />Provide all labor, materials, equipment, services and transportation for reinforcing steel, <br />accessories, embedments and miscellaneous anchorage accessories, joint fillers, and <br />waterstops for cast-in-place concrete work as shown on Drawings, as specified herein, <br />and as required by the job conditions. <br />1.3 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED IN OTHER SECTIONS <br />Submittals Division 1 <br />Quality Control Division 1 <br />Concrete Formwork Section 031000 <br />Cast-in-Place Concrete Section 033000 <br />Thermal and Moisture Protection Division 7 <br />1.4 CODES AND STANDARDS <br />A.Building Code: Concrete work shall conform to the requirements of the Building <br />Code identified on the Structural General Notes, and OSHA requirements, except <br />where more stringent conditions or criteria occur in the standards referenced <br />below and on the Drawings. <br />B.Standards: <br />1.ACI 117 – Standard Specifications for Tolerances for Concrete <br />Construction and Materials. <br />2.ACI 301 –Specifications for Structural Concrete. <br />3.ACI 315 – Details and Detailing of Concrete Reinforcement. <br />4.ACI 318 – Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete and <br />Commentary. <br />5.ACI 355.2 – Qualification of Post-Installed Mechanical Anchors in <br />Concrete and Commentary <br />6.ACI 355.4 – Qualification of Post-Installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete <br />and Commentary <br />7.American Society for Testing and Materials "ASTM Standards in Building <br />Codes", various standards as referenced herein.
