Gateway Park Center PERKINS+WILL <br /> 810495.000 <br /> 12/06/18 <br /> <br /> <br />DEMOUNTABLE PARTITIONS <br />10 22 19 - 3 <br /> <br /> <br />1.8 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Not less than 5 years experience in the actual production <br />of specified products <br />1. Product certificates signed by manufacturer certifying materials comply with <br />specified performance characteristics and criteria, and physical requirements. <br />B. Installer Qualifications: Qualified installer to have minimum 5 years documented <br />experience in installation of system similar in complexity to those required for this <br />Project. <br />1. Acceptable to or licensed by manufacturer. <br />2. Successfully completed not less than 5 comparable scale projects. <br />C. Mockups: Build mockups to verify selections made under Sample submittals, to <br />demonstrate aesthetic details, and to set quality standards for fabrication and <br />installation. <br />1. Build mockups for demountable partitions including accessories. <br />2. Approval of mockups does not constitute approval of deviations from the <br />Contract Documents contained in mockups unless Architect specifically approves <br />such deviations in writing. <br />3. Subject to compliance with requirements, approved mockups may become part <br />of the completed Work if undisturbed at time of Substantial Completion. <br />1.9 FIELD CONDITIONS <br />A. Finished Spaces: Do not deliver or install demountable partitions until finishes in <br />spaces to receive them are complete, including suspended ceilings, floors, carpeting, <br />and painting. <br />B. Field Measurements: Verify actual measurements/openings by field measurements <br />before fabrication and indicate the measurements on Shop Drawings. Coordinate <br />fabrication schedule with construction progress to avoid project delays. General <br />Contractor to ensure that walls and bulkhead are installed before manufacturer of <br />demountable partitions takes field measurements. The site must be available for field <br />measuring within an acceptable and agreed upon lead time. <br />C. Maintain environmental conditions, temperature, humidity, and ventilation, are within <br />limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products <br />under environmental conditions outside manufacturer’s absolute limits. <br />1.10 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver materials in manufacturer’s original, unopened, undamaged packaging with <br />identification labels intact. <br />B. Store products in manufacturer’s unopened packing until ready for installation. Store <br />materials protected from exposure to harmful weather conditions and at temperature <br />& humidity conditions recommended by manufacturer.
