Edges: Chamfer Polished. <br />2. Hardware: To be coordinated with selected manufacturer to provide the <br />following functions: <br />a. Glass door Hinges. <br />b. Acoustical seal. <br />c. Patch Handel and Lever, stainless steel door strike. <br />2.5 FABRICATION <br />A. General: Fabricate demountable walls for installation with concealed fastening devices <br />and pressure-fit members that will not damage ceiling or floor coverings. Fabricate <br />systems for installation with continuous seals at floor, ceiling, and other locations <br />where partitions abut fixed construction. <br />B. Fabricate components in sizes, profiles, and configurations as indicated on the <br />approved shop drawings. <br />C. Fabricate doors with required fittings. <br />D. Fabricate doors and walls to allow for minimum clearances. <br />E. Rigidly fit and secure joints and corners. Make joints and connections flush, hairline, <br />and soundproof. <br />F. Prepare components to receive anchor devices and hardware. <br />G. Arrange fasteners, attachments, and jointing to ensure concealment from view. <br />H. Prepare components with drillings for door hardware. <br />I. Wiring: Conceal conductors and cables in raceways. Bundle, lace, and train conductors <br />to terminal points with no excess and without exceeding manufacturer's limitations on <br />bending radii. <br />2.6 GENERAL FINISH REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Protect mechanical finishes on exposed surfaces from damage by applying a <br />strippable, temporary protective covering before shipping. <br />B. Appearance of Finished Work: Noticeable variations in same piece are not acceptable. <br />C. Variations in appearance of adjoining components are acceptable if they are within the <br />range of approved Samples and are assembled or installed to minimize contrast. <br />2.7 ALUMINUM FINISHES <br />A. Color Anodic Finish: AAMA 611, AA-M12C22A42/A44, Class I, 0.018 mm or thicker.
