Agreement for County Attorney ServicesThis agreement is made and entered into this 21st day of Juiy, 2009, by andbetween OF COUNW OF WAKULLA COUNTY,FLORIDA, hereinafter referred to as "Board" and the law firm of NABORS, &PA. (hereinafter referred to as the "NG&N").-WITNESSETH-the Board has selected NG&N to provide legal services to WakullaCounty (the "County") as a result of County RFP No. 2009-011; andsuch legal services shall include acting as county attorney to theCounty and the Board as further described herein; andWHEREAS, NG&N represents that is has the ability to render the services asrequired by the Board as set forth herein; andWHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4.1 of the Wakulla County Charter, theBoard and NG&N desire to provide herein for the terms and conditions upon whichNG&N will serve as county attorney to the County.NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows:SECTION 1. APPOINTMENT OF COUNTY ATTORNEY. The Countyhereby appoints NG&N as County Attorney and general counsel for the County. Thisagreement shall hereafter provide the terms and conditions for such engagement.Accordingly, one or more of Firm's duly authorized attorneys is authorized to act andsign papers as the "County Attorney." As required, the Board, County Administrator,County Planning Commission, the County Code Enforcement Board, and staff aredirected and authorized to use and consult with NG&N as general counsel.
