" <br /> ongoing interest from the media or <br /> POLICY: <br /> 1) It is the policyy'of the City of Sunny Isles Beach to respond to news media <br /> questions or inquiries effectively, accurately and in a reasonable manner to share <br /> factual public informationrof`in.terest and importance to our residents, businesses, <br /> andevise ors. <br /> ti <br /> 2) Thee Office of City Manageris4rresponsible for the City's media relations, with the <br /> exception of public safety issues and concerns under the command of the Sunny <br /> Isles Beach Police Department. <br /> 3) The Office of City Manager will serve as the sole liaison with the media, either by <br /> responding to°r‘quieys for information or facilitating contact with the appropriate <br /> department managers, city personnel, or city contractors for response.
