M.NETWORK
57RFP NO. 19-07-02
The Children’s Trust / Miami-Dade County / The United Way / The State Attorney’s Office
As outlined above, one of our strategies in working with The Miami-Dade County Homeless
Of the all of the work that we have done for The Children’s Trust over the years, there is one
example that we believe is illustrative of our company’s reputation for both innovative thinking
and community impact.
It was 2016, after the murder of King Carter, a six-year-old boy caught in gang related crossfire
on his way to buy candy. The M Network, no longer satisfied to be merely an advertising
agency for organizations that do good, was compelled to make a difference.
Using our clients as contacts, The M Network formed a loose coalition of agencies – The
Children’s Trust, The United Way, The Miami-Dade County Police, The Miami-Dade County
Attorney General’s Office, and Crime Stoppers to form CrimeStoppers Kids.
The M Network paid for and created a multilingual TV, radio, and digital PSA campaign
combined with public relations to help raise reward money for anyone having information
regarding this, or any other act of violence against children. We then used our deep
relationships within the media to arrange for 30 days of free airtime on TV, Radio and digital
platforms.
