City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFP Bella Vista Park Dock Reconstruction 19-10-01 23 <br />and complexity as requested within this RFP, with a construction amount exceeding $200,000 <br />and provide evidence of same using the Project Verification Form provided herein. <br />3.3 CITY ENGINEER <br />All communications and correspondence shall be directed to the City Engineer and appointed <br />project manager. <br />3.4 DESIGNATED PERSONNEL <br />The Contractor shall designate the personnel according to the organization chart submitted along <br />with proposal, indicating who will be assigned specifically to the performance of this work. At the <br />time of negotiation for entry into a formal contract, the City shall have the right to specify those <br />key project personnel for whom the successful firm assigns to the project. Contractor shall not be <br />allowed to substitute other personnel without prior written permission of the City Manager. <br />3.5 STORAGE <br />A. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing satisfactory storage facilities which are <br />acceptable to the Engineer. <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and protection of all equipment, <br />materials, and products placed in storage and shall bear all costs of storage, preparation for <br />transportation, transportation, rehandling, and preparation for installation. <br />C. Unless otherwise permitted in writing by the Engineer, building products and materials such as <br />cement, grout, plaster, gypsum-board, particleboard, resilient flooring, acoustical tile, paneling, <br />finish lumber, insulation, wiring, etc., shall be stored indoors in a dry location. Building products <br />such as rough lumber, plywood, concrete block, and structural tile may be stored outdoors under <br />a properly secured waterproof covering. <br />D. Tarps and other coverings shall be supported above the stored equipment or materials on <br />wooden strips to provide ventilation under the cover and minimize condensation. Tarps and covers <br />shall be arranged to prevent ponding of water. <br />3.6 DISCREPANCIES FROM PLANS <br />If the Contractor, in the course of work, finds any discrepancy between the drawings and the <br />physical conditions of the locality, or any errors or omissions in drawings or in layout as given by <br />points and instructions, it shall be his duty to immediately inform the Engineer, in writing, and the <br />Engineer shall promptly verify the same. Any work done after such discovery, until authorized, shall <br />be done at the Contractor's risk.
