As FINLEY’s Project Manager and reviewer for the FDOT on this project, Patrick was responsible for verifying the design of the steel arch, as well <br />as the construction engineering submittals for erection over I-4, for compliance with FDOT and AASHTO requirements. As a Project Manager and Design Engineer for the project, <br />Patrick was responsible for the design of the steel box girders, girder cross frames and lateral bracing, internal and external diaphragms, and temporary <br />intermediate steel diaphragms, as well as QA/QC of the bridge substructure and drawings. Patrick was also responsible for the design of the temporary interior bent <br />supporting the steel box girders during construction and supporting phased traffic, and the arch erection engineering.
