<br />North Miami Beach. The design incorporated elements such as Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) concepts. The
<br />proposed park facilities include recreational fields for various sporting activities, outdoor pools, playgrounds, basketball courts and on-site
<br />parking facilities. A new state of the art recreational community center was proposed that houses a day care facility, ceramics studio,
<br />gymnasium, and other essential programs. In addition, several green initiatives were proposed to promote water and energy conservation
<br />practices. The construction cost for this project was estimated at $8,500,000. The goal of the project was to deter crime within the existing park facility by improving the access to quality and safe recreational facilities for residents.

<br />Drainage Engineer responsible for designing and permitting the roadway drainage design associated with NW 41st Street, between NW 79
<br />Avenue to NW 87th Avenue. The scope of work included the widening of an existing two lane roadway (0.75 miles). Responsibilities included
<br />designing a fully on-site drainage system that consisted of drainage structures, storm sewers and french drains to dissipate the design storm.
<br />The project was designed to meet the requirements of Miami-Dade County Public Works Department (MDPWD), Miami-Dade County
<br />Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) and the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).

<br />design of a site plan. drainage, paving and grading, striping and signage, etc. The drainage system included the design and use of filter socks, exfiltration trenches and a CDS hydrodynamic separator to alleviate flooding due to onsite and offsite flows.

<br />Project Manager and Senior Civil Engineer responsible for the design, permitting and construction administration services for four sewer lift
<br />stations in the City of Hollywood (W-08, W-09, W-10 and E-22). One of the lift stations was a complete replacement design for an existing
<br />station and the other two were new lift stations that are being added to their network. The project has an estimated construction cost of
<br />approximately $1.3 Million. The goal of the project was to allow residential and commercial properties to disconnect from their septic tanks and connect to sewer treatment systems thereby reducing environmental impacts.
