<br />Certified Arborist: Miller Legg updated its previous +/- 1100 LF topographic and Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) survey for a FDEP Coastal Construction permit. This was part of
<br />the beach boardwalk improvements design project between Lummus Park and South Point Drive in South Beach. The topography included trees and all above ground improvements.
<br />Beach transects were established to the Mean Water Line and CCCL and Erosion Control Lines were also established. The dune ve getation survey included herbaceous, shrub and tree
<br />species. Vegetation data was collected using a sub-meter Trimble GPS unit. Maps were then created in a GIS program indicating dominant species coverage with related percentages. In
<br />addition a tree inventory for coastal tree species and associated attributes was conducted by our Certified Arborists and displayed on digital maps.

<br />playground design for Debbie Curtin Park and landscape inspections for Wynwood Community Resource Center. Landscape Architec ture services include landscape architecture, hardscape,

<br />Environmental Specialist: Doral Glades Park is a 25-acre recreational facility for which passive and active elements are planned, including playing fields, community and nature pavilions,
<br />fishing pier, walking trail and wetland boardwalk. Miller Legg provid ed a boundary and topographic survey and was involved in the design and construction of the wetlands and
<br />boardwalk, using GIS and surface water management support. Construction administration services were performed for the boardw alk. The firm coordinated with the City on permit
<br />compliance, exotic species removal, native species and maintenance programs; value engineering and design for the boardwalk(s ) and pier(s). A Wetland Mitigation Plan was developed
<br />including GIS maps and habitat evaluation for placement of the boardwalks in ideal locations within the wetland. Finally, the firm was responsible for the preparation of environ mental
<br />resource permit (ERP) modification applications for boardwalk and planting in wetland areas.
