ARCHITECTURE
H&H Design Concept
Our design meets the City’s goals by transforming an elevated bridge into a linear park where
people can either congregate or traverse. The architectural concept is fully integrated into a
redundant spine and rib structural system utilizing standard FDOT beams and conventional
construction techniques. This integration not only achieves the City’s vision, but it streamlines
the FDOT review process and certification, therefore reducing project risk.
Another benefit of H&H’s integrated design is the delivery of architecture and structural design from a
single South Florida office. The synergy of H&H team experts, who have collaborated in the past, will
provide greater opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and improved design quality. This collaboration
is demonstrated by the advanced development of Bridge Park concepts presented in this proposal.

Bridge Park Concept Aerial View
D-9
