<br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT APPROACH <br />Our success in bridge replacement project management approach is based in the follow key strategies: <br />• Leadership of experienced project manager with strong technical <br />and communication skills. <br />• Coordinated local team of experienced professionals <br />• Transparent and open communication with the City <br />• Proactive control of project risk <br />• Quality control procedures for contract documents <br />Our project management plan outlined below will document the roadmap to successfully deliver this <br />bridge project for the City: <br /> <br />COMMUNICATION PLAN <br />Our philosophy is total transparency with the City regarding project information. Our project manager will <br />be the single point of contact for the City and will keep key City personnel informed about project progress <br />and key issues for resolution. <br />Our communication plan will include methods for coordinating and communicating with both or internal <br />and external team. <br />Internal Communication <br />The internal team of H&H and subconsultants will be coordinated through the the following: <br />• Kickoff Meeting - The full team will meet immediately following NTP to establish project protocols <br />and processes. The team will be provided with the project management plan, line of <br />communication and technical delivery specifics such as CADD standard. <br />• Biweekly Team Meetings - We will hold biweekly team meetings to establish project progress, key <br />issues and resolutions, and tracking of key risk items such as permits and utility clearance. <br />• Contract Administration - The project manager shall maintain an administrative project file and <br />will update the team with any pertinent changes <br />External Communication <br />Our public information and outreach campaign will involve communicating with road users, general <br />public, area residences and businesses, and appropriate public entities about the Bridge Park project <br />implications for safety and mobility. <br />Our public involvement subconsultant MRG will develop a Community Awareness Plan (CAP). Since the <br />Bridge Park project includes a new bridge the CAP will be a Level 4 which requires specific design and <br />construction phase activities. <br /> <br />Project Manager, Henri <br />Sinson, PE, has over 20 years <br />of complex bridge design and <br />project management <br />experience. <br />D-31
