<br /> TWENTY-FIFTH EXTENSION OF DECLARED LOCAL EMERGENCY
<br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA
<br /> WHEREAS, on March 12, 2020, the City Manager declared a Local Emergency, as a result of COVID-
<br /> 19; and
<br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 252.38(3)(a)5., F.S.,political subdivisions have the power and authority
<br /> to declare a state of local emergency for a period of up to seven (7) days, which may be extended as necessary,
<br /> in seven(7)day increments; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on March 19, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7)days, until March 25,2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on March 26, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7) days, until April 1, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 2, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7)days, until April 8,2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 9, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7) days, until April 15, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 16, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7)days,until April 22, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 23,2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7) days, until April 29, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 30, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7) days, until May 6, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 7, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7) days, until May 13,2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 14, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7) days,until May 20, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 21, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7)days, until May 27, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on May 28, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7)days, until June 3,2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on June 4, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7)days,until June 10, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven(7)days, until June 17, 2020; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on June 18, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an
<br /> additional seven (7) days, until June 24, 2020; and
