WHEREAS, on October 22. 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for <br /> an additional seven (7) days, until October 28. 2020: and <br /> WHEREAS, due to COV ID-19, the City Manager has determined that a condition of extreme peril of <br /> public health and welfare continues to exist, thereby necessitating the continued state of emergency. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> I. An emergency continues to exist throughout the City of Sunny Isles Beach_and <br /> 3. The declared state of Local Emergency is hereby extended for an additional seven (7) days, until <br /> November 4, 2020. <br /> IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that during the continued existence of said emergency the powers, <br /> functions, and duties of the City Manager/designee of the City of Sunny Isles Beach be those prescribed by State <br /> law and the ordinances, resolutions, and approved plans of the City of Sunny Isles Beach in order to mitigate the <br /> effects of said emergency. 4:(61,ez-r--e <br /> Dated: (01f24WBy: sso.
