Project Approach and Understanding Services in Work Categories ECS Group provides the following services: • Environmental Assessments and Impact Evaluations • Tree Assessments, Inventories & Permitting • Coastal, Wetland and Water Use Permitting • GIS Data Collection, Mapping and Analysis • Water Resource and Environmental Engineering • Mitigation Design and Monitoring • Environmental and Restoration Planning • Construction Documents and Administration • Construction & Turbidity Monitoring • Habitat and Wildlife Assessments • Benthic Surveying & Assessment • Wetland Delineation & Assessment • Coral Relocation and Monitoring • Gopher Tortoise Surveys & Permitting • PD&E and Action Plan Studies • Due Diligence Reports Based on these services, ECS Group will best meet the criteria set forth in the following work category: 9. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING ECS Group has extensive experience to complete the work described in the category listed above. Environmental studies, reports, planning, designing, permitting and preparing documents during the design phase; preparing bids, providing administrative services, mitigation monitoring and construction compliance assessments during the construction phases; the application of the local, state and federal rules and regulation; and GIS data collection, mapping and analysis are only a few services that ECS Group can successfully provide to the City. The City may also find some of the other above-listed services useful such as tree assessments, inventories and permitting. ECS Group has already conducted work within the City of Sunny Isles Beach as well as other areas in Miami-Dade County. ECS Group plans to continue to work within the City as a selected firm to this contract. Management Plan ECS Group believes that project management is the most important component in accomplishing the mission, objectives and goals of any assignment. The essence of project management is the continual search for greater effectiveness through the least costly methods. Each assignment under this contract will require a personalized work plan and schedule, to maximize the cost and schedule effectiveness to the City. ECS Group recognizes that its responsibility is to provide prompt, accurate service without encumbering City staff with problems or extensive revisions. Effective project control and management is not a single work task but a way of conducting business. Project coordination and schedules are reviewed on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that each project is meeting its time schedule. ECS Group projects are completed within schedule by overcoming any challenges and not creating issues. The overall current and projected workload of ECS Group will allow sufficient time to provide services to the City and successfully complete them within time and budget.
