<br />Maser Consulting was under contract with WSP/Parsons Brinkerhoff and Cone & Graham to support various design
<br />and construction projects for the FDOT including lighting, signing and traffic signalization throughout the District. We
<br />provided all survey related services in the design phase as task orders are released. To meet the demands of this
<br />contract, Maser Consulting is leveraging LiDAR scanning to accelerate survey data collection and eliminate
<br />subsequent visits to the projects sites. This data is used to create FDOT compliant design survey files in MicroStation
<br />and assist the design team to help ensure the success of the engineer and contractor. Role: Project Manager

<br />This design-build project will change the existing roadway system in Pinellas County in order to enhance safety, add
<br />capacity, and improve mobility by creating two new four-lane elevated tolled roadways. With approximately 90 miles
<br />of roadway affected by this construction, fast and accurate survey data collection was paramount to the design
<br />process. Maser Consulting was asked to support this project by providing mobile LiDAR collection for the entire
<br />proposed corridor and design survey file creation to produce topography and a digital terrain model over the entire
<br />project limits. Role: Project Manager

<br />Mapping, and Subsurface Utility Engineering on this contract. This project scope includes project network control,
<br />Right of Way determination, and full topographic design survey to support widening of the mainline and 8 bridges for
<br />increased capacity and safety improvements.
