Proven solutions <br />Responsive and dependable performance <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 20-07-01: Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />D-6 <br />Preliminary Design Phase: On the basis of selection by the City <br />of the recommended solution, or modified solution agreed <br />upon by City and Consultant, prepare Preliminary Design <br />documents consisting of final design criteria, preliminary <br />drawings, outline specifications, and written descriptions of <br />the Project. <br />Based on the information contained in the Preliminary Design <br />documents, submit a revised estimate of Total Construction <br />Cost, and any adjustment to Total Project Cost known to <br />Consultant. Furnish Preliminary Design documents to and <br />review them with the City within the stipulated period <br />indicated in the Request for Quotation and Proposal. For the <br />purpose of payment to the Consultant, services under the <br />Preliminary Design Phase will be considered complete when <br />the Preliminary Design documents have been accepted by the <br />City as complete <br />Final Design/Construction Documents Phase <br />»If the Project involves construction or demolition, the <br />Consultant shall prepare, standard approved Preliminary <br />Designs, modifications, estimated Construction Cost, <br />Construction Documents consisting of working drawings <br />and specifications setting forth in detail the work <br />required for the architectural, civil, transportation, <br />structural, mechanical, electrical, site, and other <br />work, and the necessary bidding information, general <br />conditions, supplementary conditions and proposal <br />forms. The Consultant shall submit to the City ten copies <br />of the Construction Documents, and a further revised <br />Estimate of Total Construction Cost. <br />»Prior to final approval of the Construction Documents <br />by the CITY, the Consultant shall conduct a preliminary <br />check of any Work products to insure compliance with <br />requirements of any County, City, State, or Federal <br />agency from which a permit or other approval is <br />required. Consultant shall prepare all support documents <br />to accompany any necessary permit applications. <br />Consultant shall respond to all technical questions from <br />regulatory agencies. CONSULTANT shall modify” at no <br />additional cost to the CITY, Construction Documents in <br />order to acquire the necessary permits. <br />»The CONSULTANT shall signify their responsibility for <br />the Construction Documents prepared pursuant to this <br />AGREEMENT by affixing his signature, date and seal <br />thereto as required by Chapters 471 and 481, Florida <br />Statutes. If requested, Consultant shall review and <br />analyze the bids received by the CITY, and shall make <br />a recommendation for award based on the CITY’S <br />Purchasing Ordinance.
