<br />As the Area Construction Manager/Utility & Easement Coordinator overseeing work under the County’s $1.6B program
<br />consisting of dozens of projects and including over 40 pump stations, 50 miles of force/gravity main lines, and a 96”
<br />diameter tunnel from Virginia Key to Fisher Island. Ernie provided oversight of projects being directly managed by the
<br />Client, supervised construction managers, and personally managed consent decree program projects. Ernie worked with
<br />Construction Managers, Project Engineers and Field Inspectors to ensure that this highly complex program was delivered
<br />within budget and on-schedule. In addition to customary construction management responsibilities, Ernie was responsible
<br />for coordination of all design quality control of projects designed by outside consultants and in-house, permitting, utility
<br />coordination, and US EPA compliance certification.

<br />structure flooding. Project includes 16,000 LF of water main, 7,050 LF of sanitary gravity sewer, 12,800 LF of storm sewer

<br />Senior Program Construction Manager/Utility & Easement Coordinator for the MIA/American Airlines joint $3.9B North
<br />Terminal Development Program consisting of 3.2M SF of construction and 48 new aircraft gates. The Program was a multi-
<br />phase construction program segregated into 56 distinct projects. Ernie was responsible for leading Senior Project and
<br />Design Managers to ensure that all projects were maintained within budget and on-schedule providing utility coordination
<br />and permitting support. Other responsibilities included coordination of all Design/Construction Quality Control and Safety
<br />Programs, and reporting any unanticipated chances in the scope that could alter the critical path of the overall program
<br />activities. Directly responsible for overseeing the Managing GC contract and ensuring timely payments for completed work.
