<br />and manholes. The stormwater conveyance and management system will include curb and gutter, piping up to 60” RCP,
<br />sediment and floatable baffle box, a 30cfs pump station to handle King Tide flooding, and gravity outfall to the Intracoastal
<br />Waterway. The project also entails the redesign of the road cross section to include new sidewalks, driveways and bike lanes
<br />along with raised intersections and roundabouts for traffic calming, all while preserving the trees along the project corridor.
<br />CES is also providing neighborhood outreach to this very high-profile part of the City. The project also includes new water
<br />mains and sewer collection system. Cost: $6M

<br />Project Engineer for the rehabilitation of 16,000 LF of water main pipelines of varying sizes from 4” to 12” including
<br />DIP, PVC and HDPE at 19 locations across Palm Beach County. Installation of the new segments of waterline and new
<br />interconnections improved system capacity and hydraulic efficiencies, eliminated dead-ends, and reduced water retention
<br />time, resulting in improved water quality. Directional Drilling was designed for critical areas such as major intersections
<br />and tree lined corridors. Conducted design team meetings; presented and recorded progress meetings; set up site visits;
<br />reviewed and researched existing data; coordinated with utilities; coordinated with other County projects; managed the
<br />Survey, Geotechnical and Utility Location subconsultant activities; and led the design team through the 30, 60, 90 and 100%
<br />submittal phases, permitting documents, and bidding and construction phase services

<br />Project Engineer for design of the control panels at 18 different locations throughout southeast Florida to protect the
<br />Manatees from being caught in a gate that is closing. If during the closing operation of a water control gate a Manatee is
<br />detected, the gate will re-open and wait a certain amount of time before trying to close again. This design also includes
<br />stilling wells, both upstream and downstream of the gate structure and the associated civil work.
