<br />As Inspector, provided construction inspection services for this project, which made improvements to the canal to improve
<br />drainage and to provide improved flood protection to residents. The work included clearing the right-of-way completely of
<br />illegal structures and vegetation, hardening the canal bank with fill and a limerock base, High Performance Turf Reinforcing
<br />Mats, and sodding, as well as environmental and turbidity monitoring. CES performed on-site representation to observe
<br />and document the construction and to assist the DPM in determining if the work was performed according to the plans
<br />and specifications. This included reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, Requests for Information, Change
<br />Orders, Field Orders and Value Engineering proposals. It also required CES to provide Record Drawings and a Construction
<br />Certificate of Completion at the end of the project, signed and sealed by a Florida Professional Engineer. Informing residents
<br />of the work that had to be completed was a daily effort and the most challenging part of the project.

<br />As Inspector, provided construction inspection services for this project, which included the removal of vegetation and
<br />encroachments from within the District’s easements, the construction of a reinforced earthen berm, stormwater collection
<br />and disposal structures, and vehicular access gates. This project required significant coordination with the residents on
<br />the canal as many had encroached on the District’s right-of-way with structures, pools and patios, all of which had to be
<br />removed. The work included clearing the right-of-way completely of illegal structures and vegetation, hardening the canal
<br />bank with fill and a limerock base, High Performance Turf Reinforcing Mats, and sodding, as well as environmental and
<br />turbidity monitoring. Performed on-site representation to observe and document the construction and to assist the DPM in
<br />determining if the work was performed according to the plans and specifications.
