We have provided NPDES Annual Reporting services to the City since 2002. We have <br />submitted and obtained approvals through FDEP. <br />This is an example of our most recent experience with permitting through governmental entities in <br />Miami-Dade County. We are very familiar with the processes and personnel of these entities. <br />ABILITY TO COMPLETE PROJECTS ON TIME AND WITHIN BUDGET <br />Craven Thompson has managed a multitude of infrastructure projects for various municipalities. The <br />following represents our ability to control costs on projects through our project management and the <br />quality of our documents/work product and our ability to meet schedules: <br />▪ Utility Analysis Zone (UAZ) 310, Broward County, Florida <br />Budget: $10,500,000.00, Original Bid Amount: $8,724,121.00 <br />Final Contract Amount: $8,731,469.00 (Cost 77% of budget and less than 0.001% over the <br />original contract amount) <br />Scheduled Completion Date: November 2016, Actual Completion Date: September 2016 <br />▪ Lake Worth 2” Watermain Replacement – Phase 3, Lake Worth, Florida <br />Budget: $3,600,000.00, Original Bid Amount: $3,455,350.00 <br />Final Contract Amount: $3,455,350.00 (Cost 96% of budget and completed at the original <br />contract amount) <br />Scheduled Completion Date: May 2019, Actual Completion Date: May 2019 <br />▪ Plantation Gardens Phase IIB Watermain, Plantation, Florida <br />Budget: $2,601,000.00, Original Bid Amount: $2,290,631.00 <br />Final Contract Amount: $2,005,104.00 (Cost 77% of budget and completed 12% under original <br />contract amount) <br />Scheduled Completion Date: June 2017, Actual Completion Date: March 2017 <br />▪ Utility Analysis Zone (UAZ) 308, Broward County, Florida <br />Budget: $7,800,000.00, Original Bid Amount: $6,488,392.00 <br />Final Contract Amount: $6,249,174.96 (Cost 80% of budget and less than 4% under the original <br />contract amount) <br />Scheduled Completion Date: February 2013, Actual Completion Date: February 2013 <br />Craven Thompson has provided accurate estimating of construction costs which is a critical aspect in <br />appropriating proper funding for these projects. Craven Thompson has prepared over twenty-six (26) <br />Water and Sanitary Bid Packages since 1993. In reviewing the Opinion of Probable Costs and actual <br />Bid Prices for all twenty-six (26) Bid Packages, we have estimated, on average, the construction costs <br />to within 6% (under) of the actual Bid Cost. <br /> <br /> <br />E | Page 12
